My Salvation came when the workers asked her to leave and two other cosplayers dragged her kicking and screaming out of the dairy queen.
My glasses were recovered and I spent the day pretending it didn’t happen. Well, I still had to explain to my mom why there was a slap mark on my face.
Point being; Even if someone isn’t a character from a JAPANESE anime, doesn’t mean they could’ve just dressed in a simple costume to have a good time. No need for violence people.
So let me start this story out with a bit of background.
I make mascot suits and fursuits as a hobby, and oftentimes will go to a local anime convention to host panels on construction of these costumes and just to hang around the people. My best friend and roommate likes to go with me, since he is a larger fan of Japanese pop culture than I am.
Now, my roommate is autistic. Fairly high functioning; he can hold his own in a conversation and knows how to communicate when he is upset. But he is incredibly sensitive to light, sound and touch, so much so that he wears sunglasses and earplugs at all times when we go to and hardly ever accepts hugs.
He loves it though. Absolutely loves it. And we take precautions every time we go to a con. I’m with him at all times, we get a hotel room at the con so he can escape if he needs to, and he wears a fairly large badge over his conbadge saying that he needs to be asked before he was touched.
This boy is like a brother to me. I’ve taken care of him since he was young, and I’m kind of protective of him.
Anyways, for his birthday, I surprised him with his very own partial fursuit, that was based on the character ‘Kovu’ from his favorite lion king movie. He was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to wear it at the next con we went to.
Now, I’m assuming most of you have never worn a fursuit before, but let me try and describe the experience. Your head is pretty much encased in foam. Vision is poor, you can’t hear much, and the use of your hands depends completely on the paws you’re wearing. It’s also really hot.
Despite all this, my roommate loved the outfit. He didn’t need to wear sunglasses or earplugs with it on, and he got to pretend to be a lion cub.
The next con we go to is a fairly small one in our area. He wore the suit, took a few pictures and even gave a little girl a hug. He was having a good time, and I was too.
However, I turned my back on him for a second to give someone my information and some chick comes out of nowhere and jumps on him, screaming “SORA-KUUUUUNNNN”
I myself have never played Kingdom Hearts, and only found out afterwards that at one point, the character turns into a lion that sort of vaguely resembles my roommate’s suit. An easy mistake to make, I guess, but I was surprised.
Anyways, I turn around to find this girl, maybe around the age of 15, in a black trench coat like thing and a red wig jumping on my roommate from behind with her hands around his neck. There is no way he could have seen this girl, and he was probably just as surprised by this girl as I was. But he panics.
He starts screaming, and I have to literally pull this girl off of him and pin my roommate into a corner. I get the fursuit head off, and am forced to pin a squalling, crying teenage boy to the ground for about a half hour, because I couldn’t get him up to the hotel room in time. During this time, the girl keeps hanging around, yelling at me for ‘hurting Sora-kun’.
When I get my roommate calmed down enough to let him go, A con staff comes up to me with the head for the costume. Apparently, the girl decided it was okay to ‘borrow’ the head of his costume. I’m just glad one of the con staff noticed it in time. She got banned from the con for try to steal the head.
I haven’t seen her again and neither has my roommate. He’s still nervous about wearing the costume in public now, which is really sad since I know he loved it.While this is also a weeb story, it’s also a warning to con attendees. PLEASE don’t jump on people, especially from behind; it can have bad effects
Ok so, this is my first time submitting to this lovely blog, I really enjoy reading the silly stuff in here if I need a good laugh so I figured I might as well submit my weeaboo horror story, and I apologize in advance for its longness, I guess this can be considered a Weeb odyssey.
Hello everyone, Mod M here. After receiving a few messages about it, I was enlightened to the fact that the word “tranny” was used most inappropriately in one of the anonymous stories submitted. I would like to apologize on behalf of D and I that this made it through to be posted: in the future, we will both take care to make sure such rude, inexcusable offenses do not make it through!!! I hope you all can forgive us, and I have gone and removed this from the story.
If anything like this does slip through again, do not be afraid to alert us! We in no way promote hatred towards anyone’s sexuality, gender, race, etc and if anything offensive gets through, please let us know and we will fix it immediately without any questions!

anon: was watching a vocaloid music video and the song that was sung was covered in Chinese. This made me think of you guys.
I’ll start my tale by providing some background info about myself.
I watched Pokemon and Cardcaptor Sakura from a very young age, but didn’t know it was anime until 6th grade when my friends introduced me to Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Inuyasha. If I ever had a weeaboo phase it would have probably been sometime between 8th and 9th grade. I wasn’t too bad though, no wapanese, no immature screaming/behavior; If I shat out any insufferable OCs I kept them to my most intimate friend circle. Though one day for high school spirit week, when we could dress up as our favorite fictional character, I dressed up as Ed Elric, a decision that still haunts me to this day. Also I was one of those “LOL RaNdOmZ!!!!111!1” kind of people when I was like, 14, but I grew out of that fast.
So anyways, as freshmen, my friend K and I found out there was an “Oriental Culture” club that just started up. We knew, of course, it was anime club, but they had to make it sound academic in order to get permission to found it. We decided to check it out. Predictably, it was full of weebs and weirdos. bDes Spankingsweetbaremaids Da Faq Index Spanking Sweet Bare Maids New Weeaboo Storiesv n e Spanking Sweet Bare Maids Spanking Sweet Bare Maids tDes Spankingsweetbaremaids Da Faq Index Spanking Sweet Bare Maids New Weeaboo Storiesm n Spanking Sweet Bare Maids Bare 1336878780171_R
